Bin Sulayem meets Indian State Tourism Minister

The Director General of the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), Mr. Khalid A bin Sulayem, received a delegation headed by Mr. Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, Minister for Home, Vigilance and Tourism for the southern Indian state of Kerala, at the DTCM Head Office on Monday.

Also present at the meeting were the DTCM Director of Operations and Marketing, Mr. Mohammed Khamis bin Hareb, DTCM Director Media Relations, Mr. Eyad Ali Abdul Rahman, Mr. Kamal Lochan Das, Regional Director of India Tourism office in Dubai, and Mr. Balesh Kumar, Consul at the Consulate General of India in Dubai.

The minister discussed different ways of boosting bilateral cooperation between Dubai and the southern Indian state of Kerala, particularly in the field tourism. One important area of discussion was medical tourism in the wake of the Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) taking shape in Dubai.
