GCC industry giants lend support industry to 2nd annual HDI-MEA conference & expo in Cairo

The most elite executives from the GCC will gather at the 2nd annual international HDI-Middle East and Africa Conference and Expo: "Gateway to New Horizons", 26-31 May at the Hotel Intercontinental-City Stars in Cairo, Egypt.

Focused on globalization, call center, outsourcing, and IT service management best practices, the all new program highlights success stories and case studies featuring GCC companies.

More than 30 sessions across four tracks highlight issues of the day and practical approaches to drive performance and quality. Hosting the event in Egypt for the second time, HDI-MEA plans to offer this conference in a variety of venues around the region and will announce its next location during the Cairo event.

An event highlight will be Mr. Kadous' presentation of the prestigious HDI International Team Excellence and Analyst of the Year Awards, honoring the world-class support organizations that have most enhanced the image of the industry by achieving the highest standards of excellence for delivering customer service and support.

Moustafa Kadous will also reveal the results of the first annual HDI-MEA Industry Practices and Salary Survey at the event. Launched in the U.S. 15 years ago as an annual research initiative, this long-awaited regionally-focused study will establish the performance and operational benchmarks for support services unique to the Middle East and Africa.

"This research will be the definitive resource for best practices trending, in-depth statistical information, and compensation levels for help desk and support center managers and the GCC countries are expected to make a strong showing in the finalists," commented Ron Muns, HDI Founder and CEO.

Mr. Ahmed Nuseirat, Coordinator General, Dubai Government Excellence Program headlines an elite, multi-national faculty. Joining him are Dr. Tarek Kamel, Egypt's Minister of Communication and Information Technology, and Mr. Mohammed Omran, CEO, Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), event endorser.
