TECOM Investments to recruit 30 UAE Nationals at Careers UAE 2007

As part of its Mustaqbali Programme, TECOM Investments, a member of Dubai Holding, will be offering up to 30 jobs opportunities for national UAE graduates at the Careers UAE 2007 Exhibition, taking place at the Dubai International Convention Centre from March 13-15.

Mustaqbali is a six-month programme aimed at recruiting UAE nationals with management potential.

Abdullatif Almulla, CEO of TECOM Investments, said: "TECOM's Mustaqbali program has been created to further the Emiratisation vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

"In response to his call for integrating more UAE nationals in the private sector, we have devised this unique program that selects promising talent and supports the growth of their competencies through practical experience and workplace mentoring. The Mustaqbali program's individuality and secret to success lies in the balance between the nurturing of individual aptitude and the one-to-one guidance provided both in immediate scenarios as well as in long-term career path development.

In the Mustaqbali programme, graduates go through the normal hiring process. They are awarded positions in TECOM based on their interests. Potential and qualifications.

The programme offers new recruits the chance to receive on the job training, an induction programme, communications skills, customer service skills, ILM (Institute of Leadership and Management) and a qualification in team leadership.

Alongside members of the Mustaqbali programme, UAE national employees of TECOM will be available to share their first hand experiences of working with TECOM investments at the Careers UAE 2007 Exhibition.

Through this program, TECOM aims to locate and hone UAE national talent that can go on to becoming a valuable part of other Dubai Holding entities.

The TECOM Investments stand, within the Dubai Holding arena, is located at Zabeel Hall, No. Z-E1.
