25.8m used abras last year

The number of commuters who used Dubai's motorised abras last year increased by 22.7% according to statistics released by the Roads and Transport Authority. A total of 25.8m passengers were transported in nearly 1.3m journeys. Since 2001, more than 105m commuters have used the city's abras.
