The meeting was planned to coincide the Geneva motor show, where the new convertible made its European debut. The event also provided regional customers with the opportunity for a unique preview of the new car.

Axel Obermüller, Managing Director for Europe and the Middle East, said, "Advanced orders for the convertible are significant and our dedicated importers are making considerable investment across the region to support the extended Phantom family."

"The Middle Eastern customer is highly sophisticated and expects only the best - it is our intention to continue to deliver on their expectations," he continued.

Production of the new model will begin at the company's manufacturing plant at Goodwood, England in the summer. Deliveries to the Middle East are expected in late summer 2007, with keen interest in the vehicle already recorded across the region.
