Georgetown University students impressed by Dubai World activities

Students of business from the prestigious Georgetown University in Washington DC have visited the Jebel Ali Port and Free Zone and interacted with officials from Dubai World, giving the visitors an opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of the group's activities.
Abdul Raheem Al Hashemi, Manager, Business Relations, DP World, who gave them a comprehensive presentation about the global port operator's business both regionally and on the global front.
The students were accompanied by Mr. Stanley D. Nollen - Georgetown University - McDonough School of Business Professor and Mr. Kasra Ferdows - Georgetown University - McDonough School of Business - Heisley Family Professor of Global Manufacturing .
Mr Al Hashemi said: "The Georgetown University students displayed keen interest in learning about DP World and Dubai World's projects, and the background to them."
A lively Q&A session was followed by a tour of DP World Jebel Ali port and Jebel Ali Free Zone, giving the group a glimpse of the world-class infrastructure and efficiency that have contributed to the growth of business in Dubai and laid the foundation for the companies' current international growth.
