The rapid price appreciation in Dubai's property market and its lack of regulation is forcing institutional investors to shy away from putting their money into the sector, reported Gulf News. But analysts feel that once supply and demand issues stabilise and the market has better regulation, then banks, insurance companies and fund managers will see it as an attractive option. Institutional investors drive established property markets such as in the UK.
