- PRESS RELEASE
The Information & Technology Publishing Company (ITP), has been appointed as the official publisher of Gitex Saudi Arabia for the second year running, bringing all the breaking industry news and top stories from the exhibition on a daily basis to ensure industry figures are kept informed throughout the 5 day-long event.
The exhibition opened last year at the heart of the Kingdom's IT community in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to industry acclaim, with over 500 exhibitors and 70,000 visitors. Attendance during the 2003 show is expected to exceed this, with more companies and trade visitors understanding the strategic marketing value of exhibiting.
ITP will once again host the annual Arabian Business Saudi eAchievement awards during Gitex Saudi Arabia. The awards have become a barometer for the rapidly growing Saudi e-business place, highlighting and rewarding the visionaries and pioneers of the last year.
ITP, who have recently presented a lifetime achievement award to HRH Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin AbdulAziz Al Saud, recognise the importance of Saudi Arabia to the Middle East. "Our IT journalists work with and talk to the IT industry 365 days of the year. Saudi Arabia is a hugely exciting country, and an exhibition such as Gitex has helped to consolidate its position as a major global IT player. We will be publishing the Gitex Times, in English and Arabic, to bring the latest, breaking news to each and every one of the visitors to the show in 2003, as well as focusing on and previewing it through our range of monthly IT titles and ITP.Net." concluded Akawi.
ITP publishes the Gitex Times, the official daily paper of Gitex at Gitex Dubai and Gitex Saudi Arabia as well as monthly magazines such as Windows Middle East, Arabian Business, Time Out Dubai Time Out Abu Dhabi and Arabian Computer News.
