CNN International goes live on mobile phones with Mobily

CNN International can now be watched live on 3G mobile phones in Saudi Arabia, through a new deal with Saudi telecoms company, Mobily.
Mobily has added CNN to the list of television channels provided on their Mobile TV service, delivering the latest world news live to mobile users in Saudi Arabia. The live stream enables Mobily's subscribers to watch the world's leading international news network directly on their mobile handsets, tuning into the latest news headlines and reporting from around the world.
"Turner is committed to extending the reach of our channels and this is a great opportunity to deliver CNN's globally recognized news service to even more mobile users interested in making the most of the emerging opportunities arising with mobile television," said Dima Boulos, Affiliate Relations Director -Middle East.
She added, "This launch highlights the rapid expansion of mobile television in the international marketplace. We are excited to be able to offer CNN International to Mobily and hope this will allow us to give viewers a simple and intuitive way to watch CNN on the go, anytime, anyplace."
