Aramco, NPCC deal

Saudi Aramco has awarded a contract to the UAE's National Petroleum Construction Company for its tie-in platforms and scraper decks project, reported Gulf News. The assignment will involve the construction, transportation and installation, offshore, of two tie-in platforms, including two bridges and pipe spools, as well as three scraper decks. The work should finish by January 2009 and will take place at the Zuluf and Marjan fields, offshore from Saudi Arabia.
