Dubai-based internet recruitment company GulfTalent.com announced today the launch of a regional series of training seminars on online recruitment to be held across eight major cities of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
The announcement follows the massive success of GulfTalent.com's earlier event in February, where seventy HR professionals attended GulfTalent.com's online recruitment seminar at Sheraton Hotel in Doha.
The second event in the series was held today Monday in Bahrain, with similar events by GulfTalent.com scheduled to take place in Kuwait City, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam over the next few months.
Speaking to the delegates attending the seminar at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Manama today, a GulfTalent.com spokesperson said "With the economic growth in the region continuing at full speed, attraction and retention of talent has become a key priority for businesses. At the same time, the internet has revolutionized the way companies go about the recruitment process, making knowledge of online recruitment a very important tool and a key source of competitive advantage."
The seminar agenda covers an overview of recruitment industry, benefits of recruiting online, strategic requirements for companies interested in recruiting on the internet, as well as the future of e-recruitment.
