The exhibition will focus on linking prospective students and their families with local, regional and international higher education institutes.

"Our main focus at GHEDEX is to answer the concerns of today's students and famillies, academic professionals and the community as a whole. We will be there to unveil our new facility offerings and to answer visitors' inquiries about studying in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi," said HE Ali Saeed Bin Harmal Al Dhaheri, ADU Chairman.

ADU opened their new campus at Khalifa City in October 2006, which so far, has exceeded all expectations. The comprehensive facility includes a mosque, a graduate centre, a sports field, a car parking system providing for 1400 students with separate areas for the arrival ýand departure of cars and buses, all of which divide into separate sections for male ýand female students. ýSpace has also been allocated for further development of facilities in order to ýensure the University meets the needs of students in years to come. The campus will also ýcomprise a teaching ýhospital, a school with nursery, kindergarten ýand junior sections through Grade 12 will be built, which will eventually cater to 2000 ýstudents.

"Taking part in the fair will allow us present to prospective students in the Sultanate of Oman all the advantages of earning a high-standard education in a respectable and specialized environment. ADU's presence at GHEDEX will ensure that these students are fully aware of the benefits of studying at a international quality institution," said Professor Dr. Reynold Macpherson, ADU Chancellor.

Abu Dhabi University is organized into three academic colleges and the ADU English Language Institute. The three founding colleges of ADU include the College of Arts and Sciences; the College of Business Administration; and the College of Computer Science and Information Technology; the English Language Institute; and the Institute for Enterprise Development.
