LG steps up Dubai managerial team as it prioritises A/C business

Mr M.B. Shin, President, LG Electronics' Middle East and Africa Operations.

Mr Kyung Rin An has been assigned Manager of the Dubai Liaison Office. The holder of an MBA in business management, in which he majored in Arabic, Mr An has worked in LG Electronics' Export Department in Seoul for three years where he was looking after a/c exports to the Middle East and Africa.

Mr Michael Hwang joins LG's Dubai Liaison Office as Senior Manager, Sales Engineering Group Air Conditioning Division. The holder of a masters degree in engineering, Hwang has 17 years experience with LG, most of which was spent in the research and development of commercial air conditioners.

"Mr Hwang's appointment reflects our commitment to providing technical support to our dealers, consultants, sub-contractors and installation teams," explained Shin.

Commercial a/c sales currently constitute 40% of the Middle East's rapidly growing a/c market.

"We will achieve our goal of being the regions leading a/c supplier by staying ahead of the curve in technological development and by delivering excellence of service which will place us first on customer service indices," said Shin.
