- PRESS RELEASE
The Dubai Institute for Human Resource Development (DIHRD) will host a training course on 'Key to Job Excellence' on 26-27 March, aimed at helping employees develop their personal and professional skills for greater career success.
Mohammed Jassim, CEO of DIHRD, said: "Today, a strong resume alone will not guarantee a successful job placement, no matter what position you apply for. An ideal applicant must exhibit elements of professional and personal competency, an ability to plan, professional creativity and dedication and performance development."
The programme will focus on developing employees' personal skills by introducing incentives for success, methods for utilizing those incentives, and most effective communication methods applied under different circumstances. The introduction will highlight 10 keys for achieving excellence on the job. The course will also explore key essential traits of an effective employee, including dedication, flexibility and development of work specific capabilities for continuous improvement.
Dr. Ibrahim Al Fiky is the founder and president of the Al Faky International Group, which incorporates the Canadian Center for Human Resource Development. In addition to the UAE, he has presented lectures in Egypt, Syria, Tunisia, Morocco, Sudan, and Canada.
DIHRD will organize a second training course with Dr. Al Fiky, entitled "Excellence of Customer Service" on 28-29 March, discussing methods of maintaining a competitive advantage and serving customers by continuously meeting the expectations.
