Saudi investment, job boost

Dr Awad bin Saleh Al Awad, the Deputy Governor of the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority, has said that more than 255,000 jobs have been generated in the kingdom due to local and international investment, reported Arab News. Al Awad said foreign investment now exceeded $51.7bn and was mostly directed to the oil and gas, energy and petrochemicals sectors. He said foreign investment also enabled Saudi nationals to receive training.
