Joint Commission International has been appointed by Dubai Healthcare City to accredit hospitals operating within the DHCC. When JCI begins surveying the hospitals operating in DHCC, teams of international health care experts will conduct on-site evaluations of hospital compliance with international standards and patient safety goals. Quality and safety issues such as patient involvement in health care decisions, infection control, staff qualifications and preventing errors in treatment will be targeted.
