CIT MOBiDIV signs strategic collaboration agreement with HTC

The Mobile division of CIT Global, a leading contributor to the mobile and wireless computing world, delivering innovative and award winning software solutions for mobile and pocket PC platforms, announced that HTC (Horry Telephone Cooperative, Inc.) has recently selected CIT MOBiDIV's flagship product, 'Stars Suite' to be bundled with all HTC upcoming mobile devices for various markets, including The Middle East, Turkey, and Persian regions.

Stars Suite will enrich HTC devices with an extensive suite of applications, including cultural specific applications that touch the end users domestic life, turning these devices to be one of their favorite choices. Stars Suite provides full localization of the mobile devices from inside out making them fully understandable, more accessible, easier to use and more popular to local users. The Suite greatly enhances the user experience through innovative messaging and productivity applications like; XMSTM, the breakthrough mobile messaging service and Finger Clix, the easy access application that allows to perform multiple functions on the device.

CIT MOBiDIV has joined the "defacto" of the Middle East market by developing innovative and much-needed applications that increased the value of various mobile devices and improved users' experiences. Stars suite has been highly selected by recognized vendors since its launch to be bundled on the devices of most world leading mobile device vendors like Samsung, Motorola, I-Mate, Lenovo, Mio, Asus and others.

Under the deal, CIT MOBiDIV' will support HTC's devices with full localization of Pocket PC/Windows Mobile interface to national languages (all icons, menus and dialogs of built-in application will be translated); it is more than a simple conversion of text from one language to another. It includes adjustment of the product behavior and adaptation of content and appearance to the socio-cultural context and functional needs of the target audience, all while maintaining the product's unique character, its code integrity and the message it conveys.
