Fly through check-in & direct to London

British Airways is increasing the number of direct services from Amman.

The daily service from Amman departs in the morning enabling customers to reach London by lunch time, where later the same day they can be enjoying the city and all it has to offer, or make same day connections to key UK, European and North American cities.

Customers are able to take more control of their travel arrangements at www.ba.com. As well as being able to check flights times, availability and price, customers booking and paying for their flights will now be issued with an e-ticket. An e-ticket prevents the customer from having to wait for a paper ticket to arrive and allows any flight details to be amended up to 30 minutes before the minimum check in times.

Furthermore, customers can also make the most of their time by using the new check-in facility at www.ba.com. Using the 'manage my booking' facility, they are able to check-in and choose a seat from the comfort of their home or office and so will just need to have their visa checked on arrival at the airport. The check-in service is available from 24 hours before the British Airways flight departure, and can be used whether travelling with cabin or checked baggage.

Onboard, Club World customers enjoy the comfort of enhanced cradle seats and in-flight entertainment delivered via personal video screens and audio channels. World Traveller features all the refined comforts passengers have come to expect from British Airways. Regardless of cabin choice, customers can expect the highest standards and the warmest welcome.

The flights from Amman to London's Heathrow on Airbus A321 and A319 are operated by franchise partner, BMED, on behalf of British Airways. Saad Jaber, BMED's sales manager in Jordan, said:

"I am delighted that we can accommodate the summer rush and offer our customers in Jordan a simple way of checking in before arriving at the airport. This will be welcomed by our customers, who are continuously looking for ways to minimise the time involved when travelling."
