Etisalat University College holds advanced engineering short courses

Etisalat University College, the academic arm of Etisalat, recently held advanced short courses in 'Digital Watermarking and Information Hiding' as part of the training programs offered by the college.

Trainees from the region and abroad attended the courses.

The college has previously run a short course in 'Satellite and Cellular Positioning Systems' where nineteen participants from organizations and authorities all across the Emirates took part.

Dr. Arif Sultan Al-Hammadi, Manager Etisalat University Collage, said: "These courses play a vital role in serving the community and help build communication and associations between Etisalat University College and various organizations in the United Arab Emirates."

Dr. Ali Al Qayedi, Deputy Head of Computer Engineering Department and Short Courses Coordinator, Etisalat University College, said: "These short courses are designed to equip students with the technicality and expertise to meet the demands of business and industry, this in turn raise the educational standards and technical know how of the students."
