UAE studies HIV plans

Officials from various UAE government bodies, including the ministries of health, education and labour and organisations including the Red Crescent Authority, UNAIDS and UNDP have held a meeting to study the country's policy regarding HIV/Aids, reported Gulf News. It is hoped the UAE will be able to devise a detailed five year plan to combat the spread of the disease, after analysing the strengths and weaknesses of the current approach.
