RTA signs MoU with Dubai Educational Zone

Roads and transport Authority (RTA) has signed a memorandum of understanding with Dubai Educational Zone, to strengthen the existing strategic relations of partnership between the two parties.

This step aims to unify the efforts of promoting and strengthening the culture of traffic awareness among students at all education levels for its positive effects on social safety including students and the community in general and on the economic sector through the safety of properties.

The MoU was signed by Eng Maitha Mohammad Bin Adai CEO of Traffic and Roads Agency and Mr. Abdul Aziz Ali Suleiman Deputy Director of Dubai Educational Zone in the presence of a number of officials and Directors of both sides.

The MoU aims to intensify cooperation and partnership efforts to make the roads of Dubai safe and free of accidents through achieving the RTA vision "Safe & Smooth Transport for all" and the strengthening of traffic security and safety on all Dubai roads.

The MoU stipulates a platform for liaison and communication between the two parties to achieve the public interest. The two parties will do their utmost to achieve the common interests of ensuring security and safety of all road users and to share and exchange information, knowledge and experience on issues related to traffic safety and methods of strengthening them.

The MoU includes the implementation of four programs combined to raise awareness among all students in Dubai Educational Zone including private schools by providing awareness materials and courses from the elementary stage through to secondary school.
