The first Middle East Quality Association (MEQA) Annual Congress opens today under the inauguration of His Excellency Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, President of e-TQM College at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Dubai.
The MEQA Congress has been founded to spread the teachings of the Quality Concept throughout the Middle East. The Congress will demonstrate how value-focused organizations have responded to the unprecedented uncertainties of the new global economy and its shifting paradigms by taking systemic and integrated business management approaches structured upon Quality-based models. Many notable figures from the world of business and Quality will be on hand to speak including Dr. Armand Val Feigenbaum, the originator of the concept of Total Quality Control; Prof. James Harrington, the Chief Executive Officer for the Harrington Institute and the U.S. Chairman on Technologies for Project Management, University of Quebec, Prof. Tito Conti, President, International Academy for Quality (IAQ) and Dr. Joe De Foe, President and Executive Coach, The Juran Institute.
