Gargash Enterprises supplies Dubai Police with an upgraded fleet of Mercedes-Benz cars

The Dubai Police has enriched its existing car fleet with the innovative Mercedes-Benz C280, an investment which is part of an integrated strategic initiative to strengthen the resources of Dubai Police.

The pioneering C280, selected by the Dubai Police Department for its cutting edge technology and performance, has been specially adapted by Mercedes-Benz Engineering in Stuttgart, Germany to meet the requirements of the force. With a dynamic 2.8-liter V6 engine and the industry's first seven-speed automatic transmission, the C280 offers superior acceleration performance and responsiveness, as well as enhanced fuel efficiency.

The C280 is also fitted with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), which applies braking pressure to each wheel to maximise stopping power, resulting in precise and safer braking. Featuring a wide range of technical refinements for enhanced driving and optimum safety, the C280 epitomises the Mercedes-Benz brand promise: Innovation, Stability, Comfort and Safety.

As part of the new initiative, two Mercedes-Benz buses have also been ordered by Dubai Police which will be delivered by May 2007.
