Call Centre show driving regional growth
- United Arab Emirates: Sunday, March 25 - 2007 at 16:45
- PRESS RELEASE
The annual Call Centre '07 show (MECC '07) is slated to take place this week at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre on March 27 & 28 and features both a customized, expert speaker-led Conference and a free-to-attend Exhibition.
According to Dominick Keenaghan, president of show organisers, INSIGHTS, "the annual MECC show is the largest gathering of call centre professionals in the region. Not only do delegates come to learn, explore new ideas to improve their operations and network with their peers but the regional call centre vendors, including most of the world's top call centre specialists such as Avaya, use the show to introduce their latest, state-of-the-art products and showcase their best business solutions and special offers. Delegates in particular this year can look forward to exploring proven strategies and tactics to clarify and emphasize the "value contribution" of the call centre towards an organisation's goals and how this role can be expanded beyond current budgets".
Continued Keenaghan, "the MECC '07 show is the biggest in the series to date and this is confirmed by the increase in the number of exhibitors and the amount of floor space taken this year, up almost 100% on last year. As a result, visitors will need to allocate a large proportion of either March 27 or 28 in order to get round all of the stands adequately. If they also want to take full advantage of the expanded, "Free Vendor Seminars programme" they should plan on visiting on both days."
Concluded Keenaghan, "our pre-show analysis of pre-registered Exhibition visitors confirms that many are coming to explore best-fit solutions for the call centre they are planning to set up over the next 6-12 months. At the same time, for those with existing call centres, the emphasis is on finding options and methods to boost the efficiency and effectiveness of their current operations. What's striking is the different types of organisations intending to visit. It would appear that call centres are not just for the "big boys" any longer, but for any organisation that is serious about providing superior remote service and sales."
The Customer Contact 2007 show is being held on March 27/28 at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre with leading IP Telephony, Mobility and Contact Centre solutions provider Avaya as the Premium Sponsor.
