Etisalat hosts Metamorphosis 'Redefining Business Excellence Seminar'

Etisalat hosted METAMORPHOSIS: 'Redefining Business Excellence' by Dr Ken Blanchard, Chief Spiritual Officer of the Ken Blanchard Companies and coauthor of the 'One Minute Manager.'

The event, which was held at the Grand Hyatt Dubai, covered the fields of management; speaking and leadership and was attended by Etisalat C-level Management; as well as six hundred Etisalat senior staff and partners, such as the Crown Field School of Management, London Business School and Management school London.

Abdul Aziz Al Sawaleh, Chief Human Resources Officer, Etisalat said "We always strive to maintain the highest standards of leadership within our organization and we are dedicated to offering the best in leadership skills and excellence in order to build better leaders for tomorrow. We believe in the importance of leadership skills in contributing to the success of Etisalat and serving the community therefore furthering our investment in order to excel our senior staff and helping them attain excellence in this field. This seminar will prove valuable in helping out staff become great leaders."

The seminar described how to deliver excellent customer service, empower employees and use leadership for the greater good. Dr. Blanchard who is the Chief Spiritual Officer of the Ken Blanchard Company, a company founded in San Diego by Blanchard and his wife in 1975, has achieved many recognitions and honors for his outstanding contributions in the field of leadership, such as the "Council of peers Award for Excellence".

Sharing his experience on leadership, Dr. Blanchard added: "There are four major areas you need to focus on to redefine business excellence. First, you have to make sure you have the right target so that everyone knows where you are heading. Second, you have to treat your customers right because without them you don't have a business. Third, you have to treat your people right because they handle your customers. Finally, you have to have the right leadership, where a clear vision is set, and then the leader goes to the bottom of the (working) pyramid supporting people on his way up."
