Milk and juice firms warned

The UAE's Ministry of Economy has warned the country's main dairy and fruit juice companies that they will face punitive measures unless they retract planned price hikes next month, reported Gulf News. The government is looking at legal action to prevent the firms slapping up to 33% on the cost of milk and fruit juices and said such rises were harmful to consumers and the economy.
