Alstom eyes GCC tram deals

French train manufacturer Alstom is targeting possible tram or light rail projects in the GCC area, reported Gulf News. The firm was an unsuccessful bidder for the Dubai Metro project but sees potential rail network development in Abu Dhabi as its development continues, while Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman are contemplating airport-city links.
