Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts visits eight GCC destinations for its annual sales mission

Shangri-La Hotel and Resorts has recently completed a tour of the GCC as part of its annual sales mission.

26 representatives from Shangri-La properties from South East Asia and the Middle East toured eight destinations including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Khobar, Qatar and Kuwait.

The week-long trip showcased Shangri-La's leading hotels in Asia including Shangri-La's Rasa Sayang Resort and Spa, Penang; Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong; Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur; Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok; China World Hotel, Beijing; Shangri-La Hotel, Beijing and Shangri-La's Rasa Sentosa Resort, Singapore.

GCC properties also participated including Shangri-La's Barr Al Jissah Resort and Spa, Muscat; Shangri-La Hotel, Dubai; Traders Hotel, Dubai; and Shangri-La Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi, due to open this summer.

Shangri-La Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi, is a 21-acre project that includes 214 luxurious rooms and suites, all with balconies, as well as seven villas, each with its own theme. The Residence will house 161 spacious serviced apartments, ranging from studio to four-bedroom units. Exceptional recreation facilities throughout the complex include four outdoor swimming pools, a health club with private pool, children's pool and playground, five private beaches and a variety of sporting activities.

The successful GCC tour, that included 184 appointments, culminated in a reception at Shangri-La Hotel, Dubai, where the team entertained corporate and leisure clients at a Beijing Night themed party.
