STAR launches Star One in the Middle East
STAR Middle East Limited today announced the launch of Star One, exclusively on Arab Digital Distribution (ADD). Star One, a top rated Indian entertainment channel, will join Star Plus, Star News and Channel [V] India in ADD's Asian package, Pehla that caters to the expatriate population in the region.

Star One, launched in 2004 in India, offers viewers the next generation of Hindi entertainment with a diverse mix of programmes including comedies, reality shows, game shows, thrillers, youth and lifestyle programmes. It's two signature shows, Nach Baliye and The Great Indian Laughter Champions 2 (current rating of 2.96), are featured regularly among India's top 50 cable shows. Another widely popular programme, Koffee with Karan, engages viewers with entertaining and insightful chats featuring the crème de la crème of Bollywood.
