With a track record of immense successful in the 1st Asian Takaful Conference in 2006, Solidarity sponsored the 2nd Asian Takaful Conference this year where more than 175 participants including investors, chief executive offices and key decision makers from more than 25 countries including the Arab world, Asia, Europe and the USA.
The 2nd Asian Takaful Conference included several informative seminars along with a focused debates about how best to serve this industry and move it up to compete directly with the conventional financial services. The conference included an exhibition allowing delegates to interact and learn more about various services offered to the Takaful industry.
Solidarity CEO, Sameer Ebrahim Al Wazzan, was honoured a certificate of contribution for Solidarity's continual development for this industry. Sameer commented saying:
"The 2nd Asian Takaful Conference 2007 achieved its objective by gathering major industry players and key decision makers to share their knowledge and experience from different parts of the world. Besides, the conference founded a solid infrastructure for strategic alliances to build a solid platform of mutual business benefits. Finally, as it did last year, the conference was also excellent in raising issues and challenges faced by industry players where delegates and speakers suggested solutions based on experience."

Mr. Bassel Hanbali, Solidarity's Head of Corporate Communications and Marketing, spoke about managing and delivering Marketing initiatives that plays the role of providing awareness and sales opportunities to a wide range of family and general Takaful products that comply with the guiding principles of Islamic Sharia'h."
