Renowned international hair expert visits Saudi for Jeddaderm

Speaking at the 2007 Jeddah International Dermatology and Cosmetics Conference & Exhibition, Dr Shiel addressed delegates about the first major advancement in dandruff treatment in nearly forty years.
"For a condition that affects nearly half of the world's population, there have been surprisingly few definitive answers about what causes dandruff and its symptoms, namely scalp flaking and irritation," says Dr Shiel. "New breakthrough research has allowed scientists at P&G Beauty to identify the exact fungal cause of dandruff and subsequently enhance the formulation of best selling dandruff shampoo, Head & Shoulders, with ActiZinc."
ActiZinc is a super-charged form of Zinc, known as the 'beauty mineral' due to its ability to keep skin, hair and nails in top condition. Studies have found that in addition to using an effective treatment, the fungus can only be kept in check through persistent treatment. However many people believe that anti-dandruff shampoos are too harsh for regular use, therefore do not get the best results out of their treatment. Head & Shoulders ActiZinc shampoo has also been formulated with cosmetic ingredients which help leave hair soft, shiny and manageable.
President of the conference and one of Saudi Arabia's most respected dermatologists, Dr Ali A. Al-Raddadi said the conference attracted many experts from the GCC, Europe, United Kingdom, Canada and United States. "We are fortunate to be able to host what is now considered one of the most important medical conferences of its type in the world, with renowned experts such as Dr Steve Shiel," commented Dr Al Raddadi.
