Gulf Photo Plus (GPP) 2007, the region's only Photography Experience Event was held at Knowledge Village in Dubai Internet City, with 14 leading international photographers and image software experts coming to Dubai for a full program of workshops and learning for photographers of all levels.
Aimed at photography enthusiasts ranging from beginners to professionals, the event covered a range of photography related topics from editing software to printing techniques. The organizers of GPP 2007 had also devised an in-depth program comprising of over 60 workshops and the popular 'Photo Friday' lectures and presentations.
At the major exhibition, ABM organized an intensive Apple workshop on the 23st of March, with the event being marked as Apple day. Utilizing the lab facilities at SAE, the three workshop sessions were provided for 15 trainees per session, with the opportunity to interact with professionals and learn more about Apple software such as the Aperture and iPhoto.
On Friday, 23rd March, ABM exhibited and demonstrated different hardware components and software tools from Apple. Through a 40-minute presentation on Aperture, ABM also illustrated the advantages that Apple offers to the skill and profession of photography. The presentation also demonstrated different features and advantages that the popular software brings to photography and editing.
ABM's planned activities also provided everyone with the opportunity to talk to successful photographers and establish a support network of new friends and professional contacts.
Apple IMC ME ends successful participation in Gulf Photo Plus 2007
