SriLankan starts Jeddah flights

SriLankan Airlines has started a twice-weekly service between Colombo and Jeddah. SriLankan has a code-share agreement with Saudi Arabian Airlines on the sector, and also flies to Dammam and Riyadh. Sri Lanka's government has a 51% stake in the carrier, with Emirates holding a 43.6% stake and a ten year management contract.
