DTCM participates in Swedish Tourism Fair

The Dubai Department of Tourism Commerce and Marketing (DTCM), along with 10 co-participants from emirate's booming tourism industry, participated in the Swedish International Travel and Tourism Fair (TUR-2007) held in Gothenburg from March 22 to 25.

Dubai Stand at the 24th edition of the influential Scandinavian market fair measured 50 square metres. This was Dubai's 13th consecutive year participation in the fair which last year attracted 1200 exhibitors from 94 countries. More than 60,000 visitors came to the fair in 2006.

Mr. Nayef Ibrahim, DTCM Executive Overseas Promotions, represented the department at the fair. The co-participants were Alpha Tours, Gulf Ventures, Avionics Travels and Holidays, SNTTA Emir Tours, Arabian Explorers, Bin Majid Tours, Emirates Airlines, Jebel Ali International Hotels, Jumeirah and ANTA Events.

The DTCM operates a representative office in Sweden to tap the Scandinavian markets.
