Accidents down on beach road

Traffic offences and accidents on Jumeirah Beach Road in Dubai have dropped dramatically since the installation of more speed radars, Gulf News reported. Traffic offences are down by 90% and accidents have decreased from around 300 per day to 30 per day, according to Dubai Police. The road, which was also recently widened, has around 270 stationary and mobile radars.
