New appointments at Aerovista Group

'The recent appointments which included introducing fresh blood into management as well as redesigning tasks of incumbents are aimed at streamlining activities better. More importantly, it allows each division -
airline & travel - to operate independently while the Group focuses on strategic issues such as product development and entering new markets,' stated Apandi Lakhiyalov, President & CEO of Aerovista Group.

The following appointments are in effect immediately -

Ansar Babu has been appointed as Director - Marketing for the Group. Babu joined Aerovista in 2006 after overseeing the marketing function for the Gulf region with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. His experience in the travel and tourism industry covers 6 years with specialization in marketing communications, customer relationship management and e-commerce. He started with Aerovista first as a Sr. Sales Executive for the Airline division and then moved on as a Sales & Marketing Manager for the Travel & Holidays division. His new posting will focus on new product development and establishing the Aerovista brand across all markets that the Group caters to.

Igor Sarenac has been appointed as Director - Operations for the Airline Division. Sarenac is a qualified Aeronautical engineer and worked for more than 20 years with Jat Airways, Belgrade at various positions including Flight Operations Manager, Senior Performance Engineer and Principle Weight & Balance. He has also directed and facilitated co-operations with aircraft manufacturers and international organizations like IATA, ICAO, JAA, FAA, DGAC and CAA.
