Dubai Land Department to showcase Malik Card at International Property Show 2007

International Property Show 2007, the biggest transactional property exhibition in the region, will feature the Malik Card, the new card service provided by Dubai Land Department, according to Strategic Marketing & Exhibitions, organizers of the show.

The Malik Card will be showcased along with other services from the Dubai Land Department during the show that will run from April 3-5 at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre (DIEC).

The Malik Card, provided by the Land Department, allows clients to avail of the department's services through its online portal (www.dubailand.gov.ae). The privilege card helps owners, including land owners (over 53,000), middlemen and the department's employees, to enjoy exclusive offers from different developers in Dubai. Owners of the Malik Card will also have access to the department's various services from the comfort of their homes or offices, thus taking advantage of the value-added services offered by the different partners of the department. These services include issuing site maps, electronic appraisal, and updating of owners' information.

"The Malik Card reflects the department's constant search for ways to better serve its people and incorporate value-added services in doing business with our clients. Time is at a premium in the business-oriented, fast-paced lifestyle in Dubai, and the Malik Card expedites transaction as it eliminates paperwork and travel time in going to the Land Department. A card owner can now simply visit the department's portal and complete deals from there."

International Property Show 2007 is gearing up for its third edition with the support of the Dubai Land Department, the sponsorship of leading players in the property and real estate market, and a wide range of local and international exhibitors who have confirmed their participation in the upcoming show. This year's edition has grown by 35% with the participation of 300 exhibitors from over 70 countries. The 2007 exhibition is expected to host over 20,000 visitors from around the globe, reflecting the global appeal of the exhibition.

The International Property Show is the Middle East's comprehensive annual public and trade exhibition for the international and regional property market. The exhibition's main objective is to bring together international and regional exhibitors, property developers, financiers, real estate agents and consultants, designers and others involved in the real estate industry in the UAE, the Arab world and other high-growth real estate markets of the world. Last year, the International Property Show attracted over 16,000 visitors from 66 countries around the world, with corporate sector visitors accounting for 40 per cent of the total number.

With the opening up of the property sector, we're expecting elevated increase of potential investors visiting this year's edition," concluded Al Shezawi.
