The Symantec Middle East & North Africa (MENA) Partner Summit was held on March 7th, 2007 at the Park Hyatt Hotel, in Dubai. At the event, Symantec recognised outstanding partners such as STME who have contributed to the overall business development over the previous year.
Commenting on the occasion Mr. Kevin Isaac, Regional Director, Symantec MENA said, 'STME are our largest Enterprise Availability partner and they deservedly won the two awards . Their enthusiasm for our technology is like an unquenchable thirst, they have been a strong driver of our availability business for many years.'
Also speaking about the Symantec Partner conference Ms. Jocelyn Al Adwani, Deputy CEO & CTO, STME said, 'STME received the Best Partner award as highest revenue contributor in Symantec licenses and services in the past 12 months region-wide. We excel in key markets such as Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, UAE, the Gulf States and Egypt.'
One of the employees of STME who was lauded on the day was Sheethal Mahesh, Marketing Coordinator at STME. Commenting on this particular award Mr. Isaac added, 'We also recognised Sheethal Mahesh by awarding STME the Reseller of the Year for Marketing. They earned this award for their advanced marketing planning and for the transparent return on investment for all their marketing activities. Demand generating activities and technology & service awareness activities are well planned and executed. We look forward to another exciting year together with STME.'

At the Symantec Partner Summit held earlier this month, STME was awarded two prestigious awards 'Partner of the Year', and 'MENA Reseller of the Year - Marketing'.
