Acer regional sales surge

Acer Computer is claiming a 50.4% year-on-year growth in MEA sales after focusing on mobility and convergence related technologies. The IT vendor holds down the number three position for overall sales and number two position for notebook sales in the MEA region - based on a 73.1% growth; and holds the top spot for notebook sales in Saudi with a 26.8% market share, according to a statement citing IDC figures.
