Al Aradi joins NBAD from Gulf Investment Corporation, where he was Head of Treasury.
In his new role, Al Aradi will lead NBAD's treasury business including Money Markets, FX, Capital Markets, Derivatives, and Treasury Sales.
"Our plan is that he develops a state-of-the-art dealing room with some 50 dealing positions with the aim to create the leading financial markets business in the Arab world. With over 27 years of experience in broad investment banking and treasury in New York, Singapore, London, Bahrain and Kuwait, I am confident that Al Aradi will help us achieve our objective and successfully execute the bank's plan," commented Mr. Michael Tomalin, NBAD's Chief Executive.
