Al-Alamiah Electronics Co. receives Ricoh excellence award

The award was presented to Mr. Tariq Nazir, as the outstanding Service Manager of the Year 2001, by Mr. Kazuo Togashi, Chairman, Ricoh Europe B.V., at the Annual Sales/Marketing and Service Meeting recently held in Rome, Italy.

Mr. Emin Ates, General Manager, Ricoh Europe, announced this award for the outstanding achievements, quality and performance of the Al-Alamiah Service Center Management.

Mr. Othman AI-Dawoud, General Manager, AI-Alamiah, Office Equipment Division, expressed his conviction that; "to be a leading company in the 21st Century, one must believe in customer satisfaction, which continues to be the main objective of our Service Center. We have worked hard over the years to maintain the high standard of quality of our service activities. And in 1997, in recognition of our continued efforts, we were awarded the prestigious ISO 9002 certificate, an international quality certification, which guarantees the continuity of the high standard of quality of all our company's activities."

In conclusion Mr. AI-Dawoud stated that AI-Alamiah has proved itself to be an exceptional business partner, with an exceptional relationship with Ricoh and other companies, and that this has placed Al-Alamiah in the enviable position it holds today.

Adding that Al-Alamiah's intends to continue providing the best customer support and after sales services, both of which remain the corner stone of today's businesses, and therefore Al-Alamiah is dedicated to ensuring the highest possible customer support.

In his turn, Mr. Tariq Nazir, winner of the Outstanding Service Manager Award for this year, expressed Al-Alamiah's pride in this great achievement, stating that this reflects the extent of customer satisfaction the company has achieved. He also said that this award is an added incentive for Al-Alamiah's various departments and divisions to further enhance the quality of services offered to gain each and every customer's satisfaction.
