- PRESS RELEASE
Oman Oil Marketing Company SAOG (omanoil) the Sultanate's only 100 per cent Omani owned fuel marketing company, has recently donated a basmaCard with free fuels to the Dar Al Atta Association (House of Giving).
Jamal Al Azki, Customer Relationship Manager for Oman Oil Marketing Company SAOG said: "What we are giving is not in any way would be able to represent our Company's admiration and support to our friends in Dar Al Atta Association. We truly appreciate their tireless efforts to provide for those less fortunate and happy to support this deserving charity to build a brighter future for Omani society."
Formerly known as the Al Birr Charity Group, the Dar Al Atta Association or "House of Giving" is a voluntary organization whose objective is to improve the quality of life or those that are less fortunate. Situated in Muscat, the Association works primarily on three major on-going projects; Family Sponsorship, Local Hospitals, and Schools within the Sultanate.
Dar Al Atta provides families with the basic necessities of life and educates them in order to enable them to help themselves. The charity also visits children in local hospitals, bringing smiles to their faces by providing them with toys and games. The Sultanate's schools are also provided for, as the organization supplies meals, stationary and uniforms to underprivileged school children.
This gift from omanoil indicates the company's values and philosophies as a progressive fuel marketing company in giving back to the Sultanate, encouraging other organisations to re-invest in the Omani community.
