Russian firm $100m Sabic deal

Saudi Aramco has signed a $100m deal with Russian construction firm Stroytransgaz, a subsidiary of energy giant Gazprom, Arab News reported. The agreement calls for the laying of a 200km oil pipeline in the kingdom's Empty Quarter. Work will start in June and is scheduled to be completed in 18 months. It is Aramco's first project with a Russian contractor.
