Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) recently provided the setting for an exclusive Rolls Royce advertisement.
The photo shoot, which was commissioned by Abu Dhabi Motors, the only licensed Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Dealer in Abu Dhabi, took place in front of the newly redeveloped Grandstand, which forms the VIP entrance to ADNEC.

Commenting on the decision to shoot the advertisement at the exhibition centre, Simon Horgan ADNEC CEO said:

"The fact that the Rolls-Royce photography took place here is a powerful endorsement of the building's architectural impact. We have built one of Abu Dhabi's most visually exciting buildings and as a result we are attracting enquiries from people all over the world who wish to use the venue as a backdrop to promote their products."

Mr Kadhum Al Ghurairi, Brand Manager for Abu Dhabi Motors added:

"Rolls Royce is the world's most exclusive motoring brand and as such we required a setting that suited the car's status. Abu Dhabi is blessed with a number of striking buildings, but ADNEC provided exactly what we were looking for this photography - magnificent but modern, immense but intimate."

Phase 1 of the Exhibition Centre opened its doors to the public in February; work begins of Phase 2 of the venue in the next few weeks. When complete, ADNEC will provide 55,000sqm of inter-connected floor space, a stunning 18,000sqm visitor concourse and parking for more than 8,000 vehicles.

ADNEC is also managing the development of Capital Centre, a mixed use micro-city of residential and commercial towers which will be sited on the land currently occupied by Abu Dhabi's old exhibition centre. Work begins on Capital Centre in May 2007 and is expected to be completed by 2011.
