OKI demonstrates 'hourly' newsletter at Gulf Print

Oki has planned a whole exhibition of SPRINT demonstrations, which stands for "Short Print Runs in No Time" and a fast production newsletter called 'Hourly News'.

"This is the second and biggest hourly newsletter project that Oki has launched and we intend to entertain and inform thousands of exhibitors and visitors at Gulf Print 2007," said John Ross, general manager, Oki Printing Solutions, Middle East. "Oki has the right technology for "Short Print Runs in No Time" or SPRINT, as we like to call it, and I believe that our hourly newsletter will demonstrate this clearly at Gulf Print,"

Oki Printing Solutions is producing the hourly newsletter of the show, 'Hourly News'. Each hourly newsletter will carry news and images from the show, which focus on high end printing and packaging technologies. The editorial team working at the show will have written, edited and designed pages for 32 pages of news by the end of the day!

Oki also aims to illustrate the SPRINT concept via short run colour production and proofing jobs on its stand such as: business cards, booklet printing, banner printing, restaurant menu printing and final proofed images using the new C9600 V2 equipped with the powerful EFI XF RIP.

The Hourly News will be printed on Oki C9800 MFP non-stop all day producing over 1,000 four-page newsletters due to be distributed in hourly editions to all exhibitors and visitors of the show.
