Chrysler sale talks advance

DaimlerChrysler has confirmed it is looking for buyers for its Chrysler business, news agencies reported. Cerberus, Blackstone and Magna had submitted formal offers for the group's loss-making US venture, the Detroit Times reported. The report said DaimlerChrysler was expected to choose one bidder for exclusive negotiations by the end of April, hoping to get around $8bn.
