During the Annual Meet, Western Digital also made a detailed presentation on some of its latest products that it was planning to launch in the region shortly, like the My Book World Edition family of shared storage appliances. Company officials updated the resellers on the technical aspects of the product so that they would have thorough knowledge about the product while educating the customer channel on the benefits of buying this latest offering from Western Digital.
The new family of shared storage appliances allows consumers and home office workers to securely access their digital content, such as photos, home videos and documents, and share it with family and friends from anywhere in the world as if that content were stored local to the user. The terabyte (TB) My Book World Edition II model is equipped with a dual-drive configuration and RAID capability.
"The WD Annual Meet is the perfect setting to meet our channel partners across the region on a one-to-one level, and also provides an opportunity for all the channel partners to know each other and share their experiences. It was an initiative by our regional management with an aim to strengthen the long term relations with our partners. Our channel partners can be assured of our total support in strengthening their business through the WD brand name,"
said Hafeez Khawaja, WD's Senior Regional Director, Middle East, Africa and South Asia.
The event, which was organized by Dream Horizon, also featured indoor team building fun activities and interactive sessions.
