Mercedes-Benz launched two very special AMG performance vehicles at the New York Motor Show on April 4.
"After the S 65 AMG and the SL 65 AMG, the new CL 65 AMG is the third AMG model to use the powerful AMG 6.0 litre V12 bi-turbo engine," said Lee Boyle, Regional Sales Manager, Mercedes-AMG, Middle East. "This exclusive sports coupe posts outstanding performance the 12-cylinder coupe hitting 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds, and 200 km/h after just 13.3 seconds."
The high-torque engine stands out with its characteristically smooth AMG V12 sound. The standard equipment in the new CL 65 AMG includes not only AMG styling, a distinctive AMG interior, the PRE SAFEŽ occupant protection system and 20-inch AMG forged wheels, but also the AMG sports suspension based on Active Body Control, and the AMG high-performance brake system with dual-frame floating-caliper disk brakes.
An even more exclusive equipment version is offered by the limited-edition '40th Anniversary' making its appearance to mark AMG's 40 years of operation. This special CL 65 AMG is the first Mercedes-Benz production vehicle to be finished in AMG Alubeam.
