ICDL GCC Foundation honours Orient Planet for robust PR and communications support

Award follows ECDL Foundation's appreciation of ICDL GCC's excellence in PR & marketing activities promoting digital literacy.
Jamil Ezzo, Director General, ICDL GCC Foundation presented the award to Nidal Abou Zaki, Managing Director of Orient Planet, at a special function recently held at the offices of ICDL GCC Foundation in Dubai.
"We have been working with Orient Planet for several years now and they have been successful in fully understanding the PR and communication required to spread the awareness we need for the society to pursue digital literacy. Orient Planet's effective strategising has helped us achieve this goal in the region. The nature of our operations require the creation of awareness at various levels, be it governmental, public sector, private sector or individuals, and Orient Planet has continuously supported all our initiatives in the region in communicating our message to the public" said Jamil Ezzo.

About ICDLInternational Computer Driving License (ICDL), is an internationally recognized computer proficiency standard that is owned by the European Computer Driving License Foundation (ECDL) and introduced by the UNESCO's Cairo Office (UCO) for Arab states in 2001, is gaining increasing acceptance in the Middle East, with several governments adopting and prescribing it to their employees.
