Anjana, whose parents are Indian, grew up in a household where homeopathy and Ayurveda were practiced and meditation and yoga part of daily life. After initially following a career in commerce, she realised her vocation lay in the world of spas and so capitalised on her earlier knowledge and took it to a professional level through various qualifications. She studied Human Physiology and Anatomy as well as Swedish Massage at ChivaSom International Academy in Thailand and followed this with additional qualifications in Reflexology, Ayurveda and various other body treatments. Alongside, she honed her management skills and learnt the operational side of luxury Spas.
The 136 room Four Seasons Resort offers five international restaurants as well as in-room dining and is a popular venue for special events and weddings. Anjana's immediate task is to familiarise herself with the day to day workings of the Daniela Steiner Spa at the award winning Resort which offers 13 treatment rooms and outside massage areas.
